Glenreagh Recreation Reserve - NSW RVFD

Glenreagh is a small town in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, approximately 568 kilometres north-east of Sydney. The village sits at the gateway to the Clarence Valley, and is surrounded by an abundance of flora and fauna, in particular the colourful wildflowers and wattle in late winter and spring.

The Glenreagh Public Recreation Ground has unpowered sites available for $15 per vehicle night, or $25 per vehicle per night for a powered site. Stays of up to 50 days are permitted and showers, toilets, bins and water are available on the grounds. Pets on a lead are permitted.

Shannon Park offers a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic by the river, with tables and bbqs provided.  If visiting on a Saturday, be sure to drop in at the museum to learn of Glenreagh’s history, and if you’re lucky to be in town on the first Saturday of the month, Glenreagh Markets are a great place to sample the local produce and chat with the locals.
