Carpenter Rocks Recreation Reserve - SA RVFD

Carpenter Rocks Recreation Reserve is located in the small coastal town of Carpenter Rocks, 35 kilometres south-west of Mount Gambier. Carpenter Rocks is known for its rugged coastline, and the area provides wonderful fishing and diving locations. The rocks of the coast were named ‘Les Carpentiers’ or ‘The Carpenters’ by a Dutch navigator, as the indented and serrated nature of the coastline reminded him of a carpenters saw.

Carpenter Rocks Recreation Reserve, provides parking for self-contained vehicles for up to 72 hours, free of charge, however, a donation to Progress Association is always appreciated. Visitors will find amenities such as toilets, covered seating and barbecue areas. Pets on lead are also welcome.

Come to Carpenter Rocks Recreation Reserve and experience the beauty of the Australian coast.

Cost: Nil charge but donation to Progress Association appreciated

Parking: 72hr, self-contained vehicles only, pets on lead, mobile phone coverage, toilets, bbq, covered seating. Please note: The Hall is not part of the RVFD
