Murrurundi is located on the New England Highway, nestled at the foothills of the Liverpool Range in the Upper Hunter Shire of New South Wales. Approximately 193 kilometres by road from Newcastle and 309 kilometres from Sydney, Murrurundi has remained faithful to its pastoral roots and is a rural town surrounded by horse studs and historical sites. The town of Murrurundi is set on the banks of the Pages River and surrounded by the Liverpool Ranges. Paradise Park is a great spot to enjoy a picnic and do a bit of bird watching.
