Farrell Flat is located in South Australia, approximately 22 kilometres south-west of Burra and 20 kilometres east of Clare. The town is home to a café, hotel, and grain silos and the main industry is the growing, collection and distribution of a variety of grains from surrounding farms. Just before harvest, the valley is a beautiful patchwork quilt of gold, purple and yellow.

For those wishing to stay at Farrell Flat can do so at Farrell Flat Oval, free of charge. Parking is located near the Go-Kart shed, and a 72 hour time limit applies. 

Farrell Flat is a relaxing and quiet sanctuary. While in town, be sure to visit the family owned Farrell Flat Hotel, located in the main street, next to the grain silos.
