Ingham is located north of Townsville and is in close proximity to several natural features such as Wallaman Falls, TYTO Wetlands and several national parks.
Short-term parking within the town is located on Cooper St, adjacent to TYTO Wetlands Centre, in a designated parking area behind the TYTO car park. Potable water and a free dump point can be found close by behind the TYTO Information and Wetlands Centre, just off cooper St. Stay for the day or spend the weekend, Ingham is an interesting and scenic town to explore.
Ingham lies on the south bank of the Herbert River and is set in an area of sugar cane, bordered by waterfalls and adjacent to the magnificent Hinchinbrook Island and the Hinchinbrook Channel. The wide lane footpaths and pedestrian crossings within the town make it easy to navigate to the local shops and cafes.
