KYABRAM COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL WELCOMES RVers
For those planning to stay and explore central Victoria after the Elmore National Rally in October, the Kyabram Country Music Festival offers a friendly location where you can set up camp, relax and enjoy the on-site entertainment.
The festival will be held at the Kyabram Showgrounds on the weekend of November 9 & 10 with lead-up events -- including the town’s annual bush market -- taking place in the days beforehand.
A shuttle bus will run between the showgrounds and the town centre on Friday and Saturday.
You can also visit the Kyabram Fauna Park or check out the latest display in the Kyabram Town Hall’s art gallery and exhibition space.
To accommodate RVers who would like to spend a few extra days in town before or after the festival, the showgrounds will be open for a full week (from Monday, November 4 -11).
Dump points are located at the showgrounds and the Fauna Park.
Headline acts at this year’s festival include Johanna Hemara (who entertained at last year’s Gunnedah National Rally), Jim Hermel and Runaway Dixie, Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters, and popular favourites Owen Blundell, Johnny Doyle and Sandie Dodd.
A weekend festival pass is $50. Camp sites are $15pn unpowered. A limited number of powered sites (CMCA medical approved) are available for $20pn.
Kyabram is an RV-Friendly town and is located between Shepparton and Echuca in north-central Victoria, 200kms north of Melbourne.
The festival started seven years ago as a one-off project organised by Shepparton-based CMCA chapter, the Goulburn Valley Gypsies. It has since become an established fixture on the Victorian country music circuit.
