The road to this site is accessible in a 2WD vehicle in any weather condition, however access and parking at this site should only be attempted by 4WD. There is a river crossing involved and steep hills. The bank slope is flat and the bank access to the water is moderate. Camping is permitted at this site and there are fireplaces. There is large tree cover and large camping grounds. The turn off to this site is located 73.5km south-east of Wangaratta along the Great Alpine Highway. The access point (or parking) is a further 20.2km south-west of Porepunkah, along the Buckland Valley Road. 

Accessible by medium size caravans only when the river is low since a fording is required. A shaded bush camping area with many reasonably level sites and a toilet. Dogs are permitted. No internet or mobile phone.
