Overland Corner Hotel - SA RVFD

The historic Overland Corner Hotel is situated 21 kilometres from Barmera in the Riverland, South Australia (1.5 kilometres off the Goyder Highway on a loop road). The building was originally erected in 1859 as a resting place for drovers passing through, and a stopping place for paddle steamers operating on the Murray River, found 680 metres from the hotel.Today, the hotel is a pub as well as a living museum. 

The hotel offers free parking to RV travellers, The stay limit is negotiable and access to toilets is included. An additional fee for showers is required, and pets on a lead are welcome. 

Visitors to the hotel can enjoy the walking trails in surrounding reserves (Overland Corner Reserve and Herons Bend Reserve), see water fowl in their habitats as well as fossils exposed on the river cliffs and old quarry walls. With regular live events, several of the finest locally-brewed beers and wines, and a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, the Historic Overland Corner  Hotel is a ‘must visit’ location for locals and travellers alike.

Cost: Nil cost. $5 for use of showers

Parking: No time restriction, shower, bins, pets on lead & toilets available

Opening Hours: Tues – Thurs 11am - 6pm.  Fri - Sat 11am - late. Sun 11am - 6pm. Check website for restaurant opening hours
