Allora is situated on the Darling Downs in South Western Queensland. The township is located on the New England Highway between Warwick and Toowoomba. 

Allora is a small farming community with a population of around 1,000. The locals are friendly and community minded welcoming travellers. 

The Allora Show Society has continued to progressively improve the standard of its shows and facilities earning an excellent reputation for a fine, well designed ground.  

Allora is known as 'the best little town on the Downs' it is rich in history and offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a quiet rural setting and enjoy an exploration of yesteryear.
