The towns of Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo will be a buzz with excitement, celebrating 50 years of the Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival in May 2023. The full program offers something for everyone. This is the time our region honours it’s fore-bears with a week of everything Cornish. Enjoy Maypole and Furry Dancing, Street Parades, Concerts and Cornish Ceremonies, Markets, Feasts and Exhibitions, Art Prize and Cavalcade of Cars and Motor Cycles. You may like to dress as a Cousin Jack or Jenny in traditional Cornish attire and join in the fun. Perhaps try your hand at making a traditional Cornish Pasty – or just enjoy eating one at the many fabulous cafes and eateries available.
