Bigga is a lovely little village in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales and is the gateway to Lake Wyangala and the Grabine Lakeside Inland Waters Holiday Park. Being the closest town to the lake, Bigga makes for an excellent base to explore the surrounding waterways and Keverstone National Park.
Short-term parking is located at Bigga Recreation Ground on Mulgowrie Street and parking is only available to those travelling in self-contained vehicles. At no charge, vehicles can stay on site for up to 72 hours, and access to bins, showers, toilets and water is available. Both a dump point and potable water are located at the grounds.
Bigga sits high on the Great Dividing Range, near the junction of the Lachlan and Abercrombie Rivers. The town’s elevation provides magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, so keep your camera handy on your visit to Bigga. The Grabine Lakeside development draws thousands of visitors to the area annually, where they enjoy boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking and four-wheel driving.
