Wallabadah is situated in the New England region of New South Wales, 55 kilometres south of Tamworth on the New England Highway.
RV travellers can stop for up to 72 hours at no charge and enjoy the amenities of toilets, showers, water and barbecues. Pets are also welcome on leads.
While staying at the camp area, be sure to visit the First Fleet Garden on the Quirindi Creek, a memorial to the First Fleet immigrants. 1,520 names of those who came to Australia in 1788 are carved in tablets along the garden pathways. Stories of those who first arrived on ships, their lives and first encounters with the Australian country are presented throughout the garden also.
