Well-known for the mineral pool located on the edge of town, Barmedman is a rural town in the Bland Shire region of New South Wales. It is also home of two large wheat solos with over a million bushels combined.
Barmedman has made visiting their famous mineral pool easy for RV travellers with short-term parking available nearby. The Mineral Pool Camp Area offers parking for $10 per vehicle per night, and the donation is to be made to the honesty box on-site. Length of stays can be negotiated and access to toilets and showers is available. The town’s dump point and potable water can be sourced nearby at the Barmedman Cricket Oval.
The Barmedman Show is held every year on the first Saturday of September. The show features rides, equestrian events, the Beaut Ute competition, plus a luncheon pavilion and numerous arts, crafts, cookery, agricultural and school exhibitions, giving attendees a lot to enjoy and explore.
