Port Lincoln is located on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia, 650 kilometres west of Adelaide. The beautiful township overlooks Boston Bay, and claims to be the ‘Seafood Capital of Australia’, with local fisheries specialising in tuna, kingfish, abalone, muscles and oyster production. There is an extensive variety of shopping in Port Lincoln, including supermarkets and department stores, as well as art galleries and craft stores.
There are two options for RV parking in Port Lincoln; the Axel Stenross Boat Ramp, and the Billy Lights Point Boat Ramp. Both permit parking for up to 3 nights, at $13.50 per vehicle per night, and have toilets, bins and potable water available. A free dump point is located in Windsor Avenue.
Port Lincoln is a fantastic base to explore the nearby Coffin National Park and Kellidie Bay Conservation Park. Water sports such as yachting, diving and game fishing are popular activities in the surrounding Spencer Gulf and Great Australian Bite.
