Lake Forbes is truly idyllic, so where better to situate the 48-hour free RV Rest Stop than on the banks of the lake, surrounded by beautiful, shady gums. So, if you’re fully self-contained, you’re all set.
If you are looking to stay for longer (or decide to extend once you’ve seen how much there is to explore and experience), Forbes boasts four caravan parks and Showground “camping” to meet your needs. The Jemalong Weir Reserve is also a great location to pull up by the Lachlan River for a few days (about 25kms from town on the main road from Forbes to Condobolin).
