The Australian Celtic Festival is renowned as the premier Celtic event of New South Wales. It is the only Celtic themed festival in Australia to recognise different Celtic Nations each year and have the unique atmosphere being located at the nationally acclaimed Australian Standing Stones.
The Festival is held from Thursday through to Sunday over the first weekend of May each year. Over the four days there is close to 200 individual events. The Thursday night “100,000 Welcomes Concert” gives a taster of the weekends’ performances and the non-stop entertainment. Alongside music and dance the program includes a street parade, re-enactment groups, Highlands games and Strongman event, Kirking of the Tartan, massed pipe bands, children’s activities, boutique stalls including themed food and beverages, poets breakfast souvenirs, merchandise, and a fun run.
The 2023 festival will be held 2-5 May 2024.
