Old Timers Mine’s campground is located next to the parking area on the lower ground and offers unpowered sites at no cost. Lengths of stays can be negotiated, and there is no power or water available for use. There are toilets available to guests, and the site is pet friendly.
The underground lifestyle in Coober Pedy is fascinating and is an experience like no other. With the Old Timers Mine centrally located, there is plenty to see and do nearby.

Dump point and water, $1 for 30L, are located next to the Council on Hutchison Street. Toilets are located on the right of the shop, and left open over night for your convenience. Do not camp at the front of the shop, only on the land designated for camping. Old Timers Mine provides the RV Park service and is not responsible for any damages or injuries. Remember : the camp is not under any surveillance so please be careful with your belongings and campfires are not permitted.
