Tacking Point Lighthouse sits at the top of the cliff with spectacular views of nearby beaches as well as up and down the coast. There is a small area for parking a limited number of cars and motor homes under 8m in length. No caravans can be towed to the end of the road as there is only a very small turning circle with cars parked around the edges.

Visitors can also enjoy a camel safari ride, go beach fishing and take to the sand in a Four Wheel Drive. The Surf Life Saving Club located on Lighthouse Beach also offers a variety of surf sports, as well as a kiosk for a cool drink or ice cream.
