Kyneton is located approximately 85km from Melbourne and ideally situated 65km from the international airport. One of a number of historical townships in the Macedon Ranges Shire, Kyneton, on the banks of the Campaspe River, has a collection of some of the finest bluestone buildings outside Bendigo and Ballarat.

Kyneton is a rural hub with a creative focus on the diverse and evolving Piper Street precinct. The Kyneton Botanic Gardens provides an ideal starting point for the Campaspe River Walk, which winds its way along the edge of the river to the Kyneton Racecourse or Piper Street.
