Narrogin - WA RVFT

Narrogin is a progressive and thriving rural community in the Wheatbelt South region of Western Australia, approximately 192 kilometres south-east of Perth.

Narrogin also has the delightful Dryandra Woodland nearby, home to the state emblem, the numbat. The Woodland is also home to the Barna Mia Animal Sanctuary, which offers nocturnal tours and a chance to see some endangered marsupials in their natural habitat.

Short term parking is available in town, along Fairway Street in the Old Goods Shed Yard. Free Recreational Vehicle parking is permitted to the south of and no closer than 20 metres of the Old Goods Shed. Stays are also permitted on the south side of Town, at the Narrogin Railway Dam Recreational Vehicle Free Stay area which is located on the Railway Dam Reserve - entry is adjacent to the Mokine Road and Gibson Street intersection. For longer stays, Narrogin Caravan Park offers visitors a site for up to 72 hours. Potable water and a dump point can be found at the Dryandra Country Visitor Centre, on the corner of Park and Fairway streets in Narrogin.

Foxes Lair is an attractive picnic spot with abundant wildflowers in spring and an arboretum with a number of choice walking trails; Yilliminning Rock is another picnic area that offers panoramic views of wildflowers.
