Inglewood - QLD RVFT

Inglewood is located on the Cunningham Highway in South East Queensland, 110 kilometres from Warwick, 90 kilometres from Goondiwindi and 270 kilometres from Brisbane and is part of the Goondiwindi Regional Council. Inglewood is small and friendly with a population of 1,100 and boasts a diverse range of industry and agriculture, high quality old fashioned service, modern facilities and country activities. It was originally known as ‘Brown’s Inn’ after the local hotel but in 1862 it was surveyed and the name changed to Inglewood.

Those visiting Inglewood can find short-term parking at Bridge Rest Area, located on Alice St & Cunningham Hwy. There is no fee to stay here however a 72 hour time limit applies. A dump point and potable water are accessible at Inglewood Rest Area.

Attractions include the quaint Inglewood Heritage Centre & Australian Tobacco Museum, Coolmunda Organic Olives, and Leven K Lavender, both of which arrange tours for visitors. A new swimming pool was also installed in 2010 which provides a welcome relief on hot days. There are also a number of tourist drives including the Tobacco Trail, Silverspur Trail and the Dumaresq River Road which all showcase the area’s natural beauty. Don't forget to drop in at Lake Coolmunda for a beautiful day on or beside the water, you can also enjoy the walking tracks and birdwatching while you are there.
