With a population of approximately 2000 people, Guyra is located on the Northern Tablelands in the New England region of New South Wales. Located on a volcanic uplift of the Northern Tablelands, the town is one of the highest in the country at 1330 metres above sea level.
Guyra offers short term parking to RV travellers at Mother of Ducks Lagoon. Parking is available for up to 24 hours at no cost, providing access to bins. Both a dump point and potable water are located on site. Pets on leads are also permitted.
With a number of fantastic natural attractions, a visit to Guyra will not disappoint. Visitors can spend their time fishing for trout in beautiful streams and birdwatching in the wetlands. Other exciting activities in the area include bushwalking, kayaking, mountain biking, and a visit to nearby national parks offering stunning views of rivers and waterfalls.
