Kendall is a picturesque village on the New South Wales mid-north coast, 355km north of Sydney. The town was named after the Australian poet, Henry Kendall, who lived in the area from 1875-1881. The village has a relaxed pace, and is situated on the Camden Haven River, surrounded by lush farmlands and national parks.
Kendall Showground allows parking for up to 96 hours for a small charge. Toilets, potable water, a dump point and BBQ facilities are all available at the Showground.
Kendall has retained much of its historic character and charm from the early 1900s. Visitors can enjoy the Kendall Heritage Walk, taking in 16 heritage sites in a comfortable walk. The Kendall Poet’s Walk is also a popular activity, showcasing poems on power poles around the village. Along with its history, Kendall is also the perfect place to explore nature, with the Middle Brother National Park and Boorganna Nature Reserve close by.
