The Australian Italian Festival is a significant regional cultural event held in the Hinchinbrook Shire annually. It is one of the longest running festivals of this type in Australia. The festival celebrated its' 25th anniversary in 2019. Come and enjoy the food and entertainment of the Australian Italian Festival and then stay to explore the natural wonders of the area.

A fun, family day out that has something for everyone. All children's entertainment is free! There are competitions, entertainment, food and of course Italian wine and beer. This is a family friendly event with lots to see and do for all ages. 

The festival attracts visitors of all ages with diverse cultural backgrounds from our region as well as Queensland and all over Australia who come to  enjoy the authentic cuisine on offer. 

Outstanding community spirit. The Festival is run by volunteers and is a celebration of our cultural heritage.

Location

Located at the award-winning TYTO Precinct, just 500 metres from Ingham's CBD. The precinct includes a library, gallery and visitors information centre along with pristine parklands and wetlands.

• Macrossan Street across the road from TYTO Parklands near BP Service Station
• Davidson Street walk through access near BP Service Station.

Festa is only 500 metres from Ingham CBD and parking is available in the main street or surrounding streets.
