The shire of Morawa is situated in the North Midlands area of Western Australia, approximately 370 kilometres north of Perth. There are public art displays, an extremely well visited coffee shop and numerous attractions to see and do in town. The historic windmill collection is the only large, public display in Australia and the historic buildings scattered throughout the town tell a tale of times past.
Parking is available within the hub of the town on Prater Street, or the Old Lions Park, which is located on Winfield Street, just one kilometre south of the town centre and provides parking at nil cost for 24 hours. There are toilets, bins and potable water available at the Park. For longer stays, the Morawa Caravan Park, which is located on White Avenue, is perfect for big rigs and supplies a dump point at nil cost.
Beyond the town boundary, you can take in carpets of wildflowers, the colours of the broad scale agricultural crops and the Koolanooka mine.
