Hallett Recreation Area is located in Hallett, a small town in the mid-north region of South Australia, and is situated on the Barrier Highway, approximately 38 kilometres south-east of Jamestown and 34 kilometres north of Burra.
Visitors can find the recreation area one kilometre from the Highway and main tourist route for Flinders, Broken Hill and Adelaide. Here, sites are available at a cost of $15 per vehicle per night - payable to Hallett Mini Mart. A 48 hour time limit applies.
