Terowie is a small village located approximately 221 kilometres north of Adelaide. Officially declared a historical town, visitors can find authentic and well preserved 1880s buildings scattered throughout Terowie, making this town the perfect place to visit for photographers, historians and rail buffs. 

The Terowie Railway Station was once the junction of the broad gauge line south to Adelaide, the narrow gauge lines east to Peterborough and Broken Hill, north to Quorn and Alice Springs, and west to Port Augusta and Western Australia. Today, the railway offers free parking for up to 96 hours for those travelling in RVs. Visitors will have access to bins, barbecues, fuel, covered seating and toilets, and pets on a lead are welcome. TV reception and mobile coverage is also available in the area.

The Terowie Rail Station is the ideal destination for a peaceful stopover, experiencing a time forgotten.
