Tungamah is a vibrant rural community on the banks of the Broken Creek, in the Goulburn Valley region of northern Victoria. In recent years it has come to life as a place where you can camp creek side at their RV friendly site with superb amenities, walk to the pub, wake up to a barista coffee from the convenience store and immerse yourself in the district’s first silo art.
RV travellers will be left extending their stays after spending a night or two at Lions Park along the creek. Parking is only available to those travelling in self-contained vehicles, but travellers are permitted to stay at no cost for up to 7 days. Toilets, water, barbecues and bins are accessible at the site, while a public dump point is available along Spry Street. Pets on leads are also permitted.
Food and drink lovers can sample fresh natural produce available along the Murray Farm Gate Trail with Farm Gates located all around the area, while nature lovers can explore the unique native flora and fauna of the region’s woodlands, wetlands, lakes and rivers. If wider exploring is something you desire, Tungamah has several surrounding towns and villages you can experience, taking in the time to soak in real regional life and feel the country air.
