There are four race days with 600 industry participants actively involved in delivering a unique racing experience to punters! Horse racing in Roebourne has been an annual social event since 1867, attracting bookies, jockeys, trainers and spectators from all over Australia.

The powdery Pindan Track sits amongst a beautiful Pilbara backdrop showcasing nature at its finest. Fast forward over 150 years and the Roebourne Races is as popular as ever. The NWJC is a not-for-profit organisation run by a dedicated group of locals who volunteer their time to keep the racing spirit alive in the Pilbara. The NWJC increases base stakes across each events major races, further investing in the future of thoroughbred racing in the Pilbara.

The Roebourne races is a pinnacle event on the Pilbara social calendar, with plenty for everyone to get involved in and enjoy, including live entertainment, kids activities, and fashions of the fields.
