Morven is a small town in south-west Queensland and is situated on the Warrego Highway, 91km east of Charleville and 665km west of Brisbane. Originally a camping ground for early settlers, Morven today is a thriving town that relies on farming and agricultural produce but has a fantastic range of tourist attractions and activities to enjoy.
Those visiting Morven can find short and long term parking at Morven Recreational Grounds, which is located approximately 1.5km from town centre along Victoria St, which then turns into Nebine Rd. A donation per night is appreciated and is payable to the donation box on-site. Visitors are welcome to stay up to 7 days. A dump point and potable water are also accessible at this location.
The Morven Museum is a popular destination for visitors and houses a very special collection of miniature replicas of early Morven buildings. The nearby Tregole National Park hosts the rare ooline trees, an uncommon sight to see growing in this area. Morven Recreational Grounds are 1.5 kilometres from the town centre, along Victoria St, which then turns into Nebine Rd. Here visitors are welcome to stay for up to seven nights, with access to a dump point and potable water.
