The festival this year will be in its 30th consecutive  year!

The Hughenden Country Music Inc as they are called consists of many fine people that have kept this festival alive for the last thirty years!

To think when they first started out they where called the Hughenden Hoedown Country Music Club at the now incinerated Grand Hotel, then moved to Johnny Goughs house and set up a trailer stage for performances there!  About 1992 they moved again to a galvanised shed at the Hughenden Showgrounds is just extraordinary

Now with the council building The Diggers Entertainment Venue, we can all sit in airconditioned comfort and enjoy the three great days of entertainment in comfort.

The Hughenden Council allows a 7 Day Permit for campers to enjoy Free Camping although to do this you must have your own water supply and bathroom amenities. And you must Check In First at the Hughenden InformationCentre 37 GRAY ST HUGHENDEN QLD 4821  You cannot book a spot and it is First In Best Dressed!
