Blyth is a small town 132 kilometres north of Adelaide and 13 kilometres from the famous Clare Valley wine-growing region. Although the population is only 306, the town thrives on its strong community spirit. The climate and soil in Blyth provide ideal conditions for the farming of wheat, barley, legumes, sheep, cattle and pigs. Sport also plays a big part in the lives of locals, with several sporting clubs in town.
Blyth Town Oval can accommodate motorhomes of all sizes and allows parking for up to 96 hours at no charge. Barbecues and covered seating are available a short walk away at the Padnaindi Reserve, and bins are located at the oval.
Blyth provides conveniences for the RV traveller including a post office and public hotel. Visitors can visit the Blyth Cinema on Friday and Saturday nights, with movies showing at 8pm.
